The cabin is shaped in the form of a triangle, symbolizing simplicity and symmetry. The dual nature of the design manifests in the intentional division of spaces with the bedroom tucked away in the nook, providing a secluded and private retreat, and the living area spread out in the open, fostering a sense of connectivity with the surrounding environment. The living area, comprising less than 500 sq ft, features a lightweight and transparent structure on the exterior, creating a visual extension of the natural surroundings. Large windows and glass walls allow ample natural light to flood the space, blurring the boundaries between the interior and exterior. The living area is thoughtfully designed to encourage a seamless flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces, providing a dynamic and immersive experience for the inhabitant.
Contrastingly, the cabin’s interior boasts a heavy and solid structure, emphasizing privacy, security, and insulation. The bedroom nook, strategically placed within the heart of the cabin, serves as a cozy sanctuary. The heavy structure provides a sense of shelter, allowing for a quiet and peaceful retreat from the dynamic openness of the living area.
